Let me introduce you to Uhans 2017

So you’re into Chinese mobile phone brands, you know OnePlus, and Xiaomi and not to forget Huawei, but there’s another Chinese brand slowly on the rise. Now, most of you might not have heard of Uhans Mobile yet, but the budget brand is coming up with a couple of very interesting budget devices. One of them is already available on the market, the other two are up for pre-sale at the moment. This often means you can order one with a lovely discount, just for your patience. Isn’t that great? But first, like always: Let’s have a look at the Uhans phones I’m talking about!

The Uhans MX

I think it’s safe to say this might be the world’s cheapest bezel-less device out there. Obviously this is an entry-level mobile. Keeping the price-tag low was definitely a huge factor when this smartphone was designed. But in all fairness, it looks stunning!

Even though you can own a Uhans MX for a price as low as EUR. 59,- it is build with an aluminium alloy and glass body design we usually only find in more expensive phones. And just like its more expensive counterparts, it has very minimal bezels on three sides. These bezels flow over into the 2.5 D curved glass of the screen seamlessly which gives the phone quite the premium look. That said screen comes with a HD Resolution (720p where other devices in this price range lately only seem to offer 640 p. So yeah, that’s a pro right?) and a 5.2 inch size

The MX runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and sports and 8MP camera on the back and a 2MP selfies cam. Nothing fancy, but adequate for daily use. When it comes to CPU and GPU the Uhans MX is not a power house, but given the price tag I think it would be rather unreasonable to expect it to be. It’s powered by a MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3 Ghz supported by a ARM Mali-400 MP2 chipset. There’s 16GB of internal storage and 2GB RAM.

The energy to get all this stuff going comes from a whopping 3000mAh battery that is definitely larger than one usually finds in entry level phones.

Let’s conclude by saying that if you’re looking for a cheap phone that looks really classy, you just have found the phone your looking for. To order the Uhans MX you can follow this link.

The Beauty: Meet the Uhans i8!

Now this mobile is quite something different. Although it is clear there were some design cues taken from the Samsung Galaxy S8, the i8 absolutely is not a copy-cat-device. Again, the design is very attractive and elegant. As you well see the Uhans i8 is build around a beautiful 18:9 infinity style display. The phone’s frame is made from a strong metal and it has a glass back cover as well. From the outside there’s no way one can tell this is a device around the EUR 130,- marker. Now we have to question: Dear Uhans… what do you deliver for this price? And you might be surprised by the answer!

How about this huge 5.7 inch HD screen (1440x720p.) that is almost stretched over the entire front panel of the phone? It’s there! Minimal bezels? Check! And by all means, that’s not all since you also get 4GB of RAM and a whopping 64GB internal storage powered by a MediaTek 6750T Octa Core processor. Room for 2 SIM cards also is available. But there’s more! The Uhans i8 will also be equipped with Advanced Face ID Recognition to unlock it! Again, for less than 130 euro if you get in on pre-sale now (the eventual price will be around EUR. 170 but still…)

But now, Get this Apple (Please take notes for your next iPhone!) There’s also the possibility to unlock the Uhans i8 with its fast fingerprint scanner! So they gave the end user an option! A choice! (Are you still taking notes Apple? Good!) And yes it might sound like I’m rambling, but you also get all the other thingies that make me happy when I’m testing a new phone like Noise Cancellation, Fast Charging Technology, USB Type-C, 2.5D Curved Glass Screen, VoLTE Support, OTG Support, Reversible Type-C Connector, Fast Charging Technology. It’s all there folks!

The camera’s also are rather promising on paper since we have a 16MP & 3MP Dual Camera set up on the back and a 8MP Selfie Shooter on the front. The Uhans i8 seems to run on Android 7.0 out of the box but with a name like that I hope the manufacturer will chose to upgrade it to Android 8 really soon, right? All these goodies are powered by a 3500 mAh battery that should be able to get you through a day and more. It keeps you wondering, how on earth can they do all this… For only 170 euro??? Let alone for the less than 130 euro that de Uhans i8 will cost you if you pre-order it now!
